Proteus Europe is searching for a Front End Developer for our client based in Brussels, Belgium -
Our Client:-

Your New role:-
o Assistance with development of text mining solutions
o Installation, configuration and interconnection of web applications (linked data)
o Design and development of user interfaces
o Realisation of mock-ups 2
o User ergonomics
o Participation in meetings with project teams
Your Skills and experience:-
o University Degree or equivalent experience in design and web development.
o Proven knowledge in information systems matters, particularly infographics, with one or more of the expected technologies expertise in XMLHTTPRequest, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, SOAP, REST, Angular- Familiar with software environment for statistical computing and graphics like R.
o Proven Interface Designer with experience in one or more of technologies such as HTML/XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Asynchronous Javascript and Xml (Ajax).
o Knowledge ColdFusion, Lucene, Python, D3 will be an asset.
o For data handling one or more of the expected technologies skills are XML, JSON, KML.
o Experience with cross-project coordination on software project involving interoperability would be an advantage.
o Knowledge of ergonomics regarding man/machine interfacing.
o Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings (FR-EN), good communicator.
o Fluent in English, knowledge of French will be an asset.- Rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working.
Education and Experience:-
o Minimum 10 years of experience of relevant studies and experience after the secondary school
o Minimum 8 years professional experience in information systems
o Experience in web technologies Optional specific expertise: Minimum 6 years of experience in design and development of web applications. Experience in linked data will be an asset. Some NLP knowledge will be much appreciated.
Work Environment/Conditions:-
o Oracle 10g, Oracle Text- WebLogic Server
