Description
Strong experience in RAMP (Resilience, Availability, Monitoring, Performance) Architect 7+ years of demonstrable experience for at least 85% of the professional areas listed below:
- The candidate must be fluent in Software Performance Verification/Tuning Methodology with suitable skills for Performance Profiling, High Availability and Business Continuity of Tier 1 North American BSS solutions.
Technology and Administration Knowledge of:
- RHEL 6.5x Intel 64 bit Architecture
- Oracle Databases RDBM, Weblogic 11g (12c preferred), TiBCO (BW, EMS),
- Data Replication (Golden Gate, Data Guard, VERITAS Cluster File System, SAP ALE) In-Memory Database
- Monitoring Tools (Solarwinds, AppDynamics, etc.)
- Hands-on knowledge of Virtualized environments, IP and Fabric Networks, Consolidated Storage (HP 3PAR a plus)
- HP Blades and Rack mount Servers - Bare Metal and Virtualized (VMware vSphere, ESXi)
- KSH, Python, PHP, Expect/Tcl, SQL, Java, C++
- Profiling Utilities such as top, sar, iostat, nmon, perf_event, JProfiler, Oracle Statpack
- Load generation tool Scripting for jmeter, grinder, LoadRunner
- Analyzing performance data and generating executive reports
- Creating performance models that predict dimensioning requirements.
- Advanced MS Excel and Powerpoint Skills.
- BS/MS degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or Natural Sciences
- High level of spoken and written communication in English Worked in large multi-cultural environment across multiple timezones with several products and technologies, BSS preferable
