Position: CIIS Public Programs Web Content Coordinator

Department: California Institute of Integral Studies Public Programs & Performances

This is a project-based contract position

SUMMARY

The Website Content Coordinator is a project-based contract position responsible for building webpages and maintaining up to date information on existing pages for CIIS Public Programs & Performances. Work will be heavier during buildout periods, typically March, July, and October, with smaller projects throughout the year.

Project Responsibilities

Creation of pages on the CIIS Public Programs website

Maintain P3 webpages including text, photos, formatting, etc.

Managing content updates in the CMS

Edit images to size and filter to work within website parameters

Maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all web pages

Ensure quality, accuracy and proper audience targeting

Work with the Associate Director and Marketing Manager to maximize the functionality and flow of the pages and sections on the site

Website cleanup as needed

Provide quality assurance checks

Experience and Qualifications

2 years of experience working with website management/CMS (Ingeniux CMS experience preferred but not necessary)

Knowledge of HTML

Basic Adobe Photoshop skills

Understanding of SEO principles

High level of attention to detail

Professional written and oral communication skills

Appreciation for performing arts and public programming preferred
