We are currently recruiting for a Dynamics Analyst/Developer to join a client based in Liverpool on a 3 Month initial contract.
Daily Rate: Dependant on experience - £400 - £450

Duration:
3 Month Initial Contract with possibility to extend

Clearance:
Must be eligible for Disclosure Scotland security clearance
The post-holder has responsibility for developing and supporting our Microsoft Dynamics CRM service.
The role will include providing support to the system during the transition of the current application support service from an outsourced provider to a small internal team supported by an external partner.
During this transition period we require the services of a skilled Dynamics analyst/developer to provide support to the current Dynamics 2010 service; to plan and commence the upgrade of this to a Dynamics 2013 service; and provide design advice to an small agile project team developing a series of enhancements to the current service.
Key Tasks & Deliverables:

The post-holder provides support to business systems, and unsocial hours and weekend working will sometimes be required - and occasionally without advance notification.
The main duties of the role will be to:
  • Dynamics 2010 Upgrade
  • To work as the lead Dynamics technician on a project to migrate the current Dynamics 2010 service to the Dynamics 2013 product.
  • To build to Dynamics 2013 development and test platforms.
  • Provide support and maintenance to the Dynamics Platform
  • To provide support and maintenance of existing systems to agreed Service Levels.
  • To provide quality and timely updates to the Call Logging system in line with the agreed procedures.
  • To liaise with Business Representatives to ensure that incidents are fully understood and that solutions are quickly provided.
  • To support to the data transfer process which makes use of Scribe.
  • Work as a member of a small agile development team to enhance use of the Dynamics system.
  • To work as a member of an agile project team and take responsibility for the development of a series of small changes and enhancements to the current system - such as implementing work-flows and standard message templates.
  • To provide advice to the solutions architecture on the feasibility of delivering new business requirements using the Dynamics 2010 or 2013 services.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Understanding of the ICT development process as used in both agile and waterfall developments
  • An understanding and working knowledge of SQL database technologies
  • Knowledge of the principles user interface design
  • Good oral and written communication skills working at all level of an organisation
  • The ability to work at their own pace and without close supervision to achieve agreed outcomes to tight timescales
  • Good problem solving skills and able to demonstrate a structured approach to problem analysis
  • Proven development experience in configuring and supporting the Microsoft Dynamics 2010 and 2013 platforms
  • Proven experience in supporting applications delivered on a SQL server platform.
  • Proven experience in working with Dynamics 2010 and 2013 extensions and plugins.
  • Provide experience in working with the Microsoft Dynamics Developer Toolkit
Achieving Desired Outcomes
  • Deliver agreed outputs/outcomes to the timescale and resource estimates agreed.
  • Review the specifications agreed with business users for developments and changes and ensure that these are complete and will produce a quality outcome - ie challenge any obvious errors or oversights and not allow these to reach the acceptance test phase
