Description
This role is with a large multinational in the financial services sector that is based in South Dublin. They require a talented mobile developer who has an innovative approach to development, as the projects they are working at the moment are cutting edge.
You will support innovation and research activities by developing and customising new mobile applications and you will have excellent communication skills to thrive in a fast paced work environment.
Technical Requirements:
*Experienced Android developer.
*Android APIs, XML, JSON eg JSON Model
*Working in an agile environment
*Experienced Android Apps developer.
*Attention to detail and subtleties of UI design and implementation.
*Understanding of design patterns.
*Ability to design for scalability and resilience.
*Strong application process flow and problem solving techniques
*Work with project team to meet scheduled due dates, while identifying emerging issues and recommending solutions for problems and independently perform assigned tasks, perform production incident management
Desired:
* Java [J2EE, Spring, Grails] development is desirable.
* RESTful development eg RESTKit.
* Unit Testing and automated testing
* Working knowledge of [Oracle or Postgres]
