Description
- Working within the Group Security function to delivery security focused projects.
- Initially this project will cover the delivery and selection of a vulnerability management/assessment tooling and/or service.
- Other security related projects may be included at a later date.
- Previous experience in delivering security related projects will be a distinct advantage.
- Define and ensure mandatory project deliverables are produced; milestone plans, risks and issue tracking etc.
- Ensure the projects adhere to the internal project governance structure and project artifacts are created in a timely manner.
- Communicate relevant and timely information to stakeholders to ensure visibility of progress, budget/expenditure, risks, issues and associated with delivery
- Identify and track risks, issues and escalations on projects and ensure appropriate action plans are established and actively monitored.

Project Management
- Co-ordinate the diverse components of the project (planning, execution and change control to achieve required balance of time, and cost)
- Ensure that the scope of the projects are well defined and control scope changes

- Ensure that the project is managed within approved budget.
- Manage Change Requirements as defined by the internal processes.
- Identify, analyze, and properly respond to project risks (opportunities and threats)
- Experience in implementing Security Projects in complex Multi-National organizations'
- Experience of implementing projects within the Financial Services/Banking Sector
- Produce status and project reports as defined by the Programme Office.
Project management certification
- Certification in a formal project methodology is required. (eg PMP, PRINCE2)
Overall experience:
- Banking/Financial Services Experience - 10 Years +
- Experience in Project Management - 10 years +
- Experience in Information Technology, IT project management related work, or technical project management related work - 10 years +
- Previous Security Experience/Knowledge is a distinct advantage.
- Experience of managing large scale VA technology deployments across a federated governance model.
- Experience of VA technologies including, but not limited to, Qualys, Tennable Nessus, Rapid7
- Knowledge and understanding of creating and managing a large scale VA schedule.
- Experience of developing SLA, KPI, and KPA's for VA scheduling, management, and scanning activities.
