Your Skills
- Good understanding of Windows 2008 server, Windows clustering services & network card teaming
- Should have hands on experience in setting up SQL database, and SQL HA using mirroring
- Should have a deep understanding of SAN and Tape backups
- Knowledgeable in LAN & WAN networks, with some understanding in VLANs and routing protocols
- Must have prior experience in implementing and administering large-scale Infrastructures commissioning projects phases
- Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact and communicate with a variety of individuals at all technical levels is required. Must possess a solid understanding of Windows-based operating systems and applications.
- Must have exceptional ability in diagnosing and solving information system problems while maintaining professionalism and courtesy
- 5-10 years' experience within projects, establishing priorities & meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding work environment
- The ability to influence others and foster a team environment is required to ensure project objectives are met.
- A Positive solution orientated attitude
Your Tasks
- Architect, supervise and participate in the implementation of technologies and platforms supporting a complex data (server & network).
- Hands on infrastructure set up is mandatory
- Have to understand infrastructure (Server, Network design, Storage architecture)
- Ensure data network, server infrastructure will be delivered as per proposal
- Set up and manage commissioning and on-site system configuration, staging and production environment Italy/Iraq
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact to the infrastructure providers (network, storage, Servers, & telecommunication) and coordinate design, provisioning, installation and troubleshooting.
- Assist with planning and implementing systems, networks during commissioning phase
- Document the as-built design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures
