Embedded Hardware Engineer (m/f)

Your tasks:
  • Design, develop and modify modules in a hardware and software platform for configuring, controlling, monitoring and diagnosing LCD-video-walls and rear projection laser-video-walls
  • design simple solutions to complex problems and implement them in a small functional team
  • Ensure architectural integrity and product quality
  • Write robust, smart and high quality program codes
  • Assist in unit-and-system-tests to the automated continuous integration system
  • Communicate with an international team in a global company


Your qualifications
  • MS/BS degree in electronical engineering, computer science, computer engineering or equivalent and/or equivalent work experience
  • Profound knowledge in software design, development, troubleshooting and discipline
  • Solid communication skills with regard to a variety of cultures and personalities
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Experience in Modelsim-VHDL-Simulation
  • , C programming and C++ programming
  • Experience/Knowledge in SoC for LCD monitor controllers, professional graphics monitors
  • Experience/Knowledge in video data processing and in sensor control/sensor data processing
  • Experience in communication protocols I²C, SPI and Network
  • Experience in creating/reading schematic diagrams and in embedded Linux, building Linux systems is beneficial
  • Knowledge in ARM Cortex-M, Cortex-A programming, preferably Texas Instruments or Freescale ARM chip families and Agile/Scrum is beneficial
