Marketing Manager-Surrey-Initial 6 Month Contract-£48/£55ph

Our Client, a Global Pharmaceutical company is seeking a Marketing Manager to be based in Surrey on an initial 6 month contract.

The Senior Marketing Manager will plan, develop and implement the strategic and operational brand(s) plans for the UK to deliver the revenue expectation for the brand(s) and OPEX commitments.

Responsibilities

* Lead and coordinate the UK brand/disease area cross functional teams (XFT)
* Drive customer/commercial operation excellence at country level and bring customer/commercial insight into BU to influence/shape the brand/disease area strategy.
* Lead the flawless implementation/roll-out of POA at country level.
* To be the market expert with full understanding of their environment, competitors and customer needs to inform the overall country plan and revenue/budget forecasting
* Build strong relationships with all relevant internal stakeholders in country (eg GEP Lead, commercial director(s), sales management, medical function, access, finance, legal, demand management).
* Execution of brand(s)/commercial strategy in country - Lead Implementation of key brand(s) programs to deliver maximum revenue
* Accountable for the planning, spending & controlling of budgets agreed for own areas of responsibility, developing regular forecast updates to aid financial planning.
* Manage/prioritize resources across customers in line with UK strategy and in dialogue with customer facing functions
* Application of UK financial systems/processes
* Accountability for achieving UK sales target for responsible brands
* Accuracy and timely submissions of LRF and LE forecast, appropriate stakeholder sign off
* Lead POA implementation
* Collaborate with customer facing leadership team to ensure brand(s) strategy compliance and market feedback
* Support product training
* Coordination with customer facing medical, local customer marketing and local e-marketing colleagues for customer/digital activities/programs
* Accountability for country effectiveness evaluation.
* Ensure brand/commercial marketing plan is in line with the GEP marketing framework.
* Utilise a broad spectrum of digital technologies to deliver a multichannel customer centric brand journey
* Lead the content management for the responsible brand(s)/disease area
* Drive country effectiveness evaluation using appropriate measures

Qualifications

* University degree in science, life sciences or business; graduate studies in management is an asset
* Demonstrated track record of high performance and producing outstanding results within brand/commercial marketing.
* Strong cross-functional working skills and able to deliver stretching results through others in Matrix complex working situations
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment
* Strong strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in identifying major strategic challenges (eg new competition, shifting market environment) and the ability to balance short term needs and long term vision
* Well organized with ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and effectively perform under tight timelines.
* Proven ability to perform effectively in a complex, changing environment, and the professional maturity to deal with ambiguity
* Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong cross-functional working skills and able to deliver stretching results through others in Matrix complex working situations
* Proven ability to influence others without authority
* Proven ability to analyse and define and convey complex concepts and strategies in verbal and written communication to demanding audiences (internal and external).
* Ability to create culture of innovation and continuous improvement
