Key Skills
- 1 year of experience as a Scrum Master preferred
- 3+ years of experience in software development and/or project management and/or business (system) analysis
- Exposure to Project/Program delivery in Agile and/or Waterfall environment
- Practical experience with any of the key disciplines required in agile delivery - such as software development or business (system) analysis
- Ability to apply Agile Management Framework and well documented Agile techniques (User Stories, Burndown techniques, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous testing, etc.); SAFe experience is an asset
Job Description
- Facilitate low complexity Agile initiatives from initiation through release, providing oversight to ensure alignment with Agile/Scrum practices, including but not limited to, project kick-off, sprint, release and deployment planning
- Accountable alongside the scrum team for the achievement of release objectives and results that meet stakeholders' needs and expectations
- Manage risks to delivery
- Facilitate discussion leading to collective decision-making, goal setting and conflict resolution within the team
- Remove impediments to delivery success through the proactive management of external dependencies and simple team problem-solving, considering options and selecting solutions; escalate issues through business and/or IT channels where necessary
- Accountable for creating and maintaining the appropriate vehicles for open communication within the scrum team (eg tracker boards) to create a trusting and safe team environment
- Manage team performance to promote joint accountability for results and solve productivity issues
- Facilitating and engaging in business analysis, user experience and technical conversations across platforms
- Navigating and identifying shared IT services required by the team in the delivery of its objectives
