For our client, an international Bank in Zurich, we are looking for a

German speaking Requirements Engineer - Lifecycle & Enhancement (3501)

The successful candidate will support the business in its duties through IT support and document it to provide a common understanding between the clients who use the application and the IT people who built, test and maintain it. It is important that the candidate understands business drivers and what needs to be delivered from a business point of view.

The Role:
  • Produce Elicit and elaborate requirements
  • Create Model and Document requirements understandable for clients and subsequence roles within IT
  • Ensure that specification of the user's needs is accurate, complete and unambiguous
  • Maintain traceability between requirements and between requirements and requests
  • Identify impact of changes on the existing requirements
  • Provide inputs to a first test strategy for the application
  • Provide input to the Project Manager for prioritizing requirements
  • Supports testing phase by giving input, review test strategy and test cases


Your qualifications:
  • At least 6 years' experience as a requirements engineer in a financial Institution, preferably within the EU / US Withholding Tax department. A solid Knowledge of financial Instrument, such as securities, single accounts and bookkeeping is an advantage.
  • Know-how in JIRA, Enterprise Architect 9.x
  • Solid understanding and practical experience in the use of Case modeling (UML) and IT projects
  • Background in software development processes / life cycle
  • Experience in project management
  • Previous experience in stakeholder involvement and management
  • Fluent in English and German
