Service Engineer - Cambridge
One of my clients an exciting manufacturer of a cutting edge product are looking to hire a service engineer to join their team.
This role will be based from the Cambridge site 2/3 of the time, but will have extensive travel requirements.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Service/maintenance of machinery, infield & in house
- Aligntment of new units
- Factory Acceptance testing
- Build Assistance
- Installation and Site acceptance testing
Key Skills:
- Experience as a service engineer
- Flexibility to travel worldwide
- Knowledge of lasers and alignment
- Knowledge of electronics
- Knowledge of working within a formal quality system
- Ability to produce high quality documentation
- Own transport and a clean driving licence
Experience and Education:
Essentials:
- HNC or above in electronics or similar technical discipline
- Previous experience of working in service/support of scientific instrumentation
- Demonstration of strong fault-finding skills
- Ability to travel abroad and at short notice
