Description

Our world renowned Ireland based clients are currently seeking a Senior QlikView Developer to join their team. The company is involved with the development, design and the delivery of high quality business applications and software solutions. The offices are design to reflect a modern and open working atmosphere. You will be working in a collaborative environment and in accordance to LEAN principle, with great focus on continuous improvements, integration, testing and delivery. You are expected to be highly organised and work independently.

Your responsibilities will include
*In depth knowledge of Scripting, data source integration and GUI development in Qlikview.
*Developing Qlik sense visualisation to demonstrate various KPI'S to the business
*Knowledge of creating BI solutions for the purpose of manufacturing, financial and supply chain management reporting
*Debugging client- side issue with firebug, web developer and similar tools
*Writing complicated yet and efficient SQL queries

Required experience
*Experience of writing hand coded HTML scripts
*An understanding of data quality, data cleansing and data transformation
*Thorough knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP/S, JSON, FTP, SSH, SMTP, SOAP and REST.
*Sourcing data from disparate systems with a good understanding of their Data Models and ETL procedures
*Working with Knockout, Angular and Bootstrap.
*Knowledge of UI/UX PRNCIPLES
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills, Data management, Datamodelling, system integration, development methodologies and web technologies.
*Basic understanding of agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.

Preferred qualifications:
* Master's degree in computer science/related disciplines
* Excellent mastery of web standards, cross-browser compatibility and building in accessibility.
* Experience with Oracle and MySQL a plus.
