We are looking for a Technical Architect to our Online team within Infrastructure & Operations, I&O
IT Division I&O, serves us globally and consists of three main areas which are Application Operation, Infrastructure Services and Cross Function. We are mainly seated in Stockholm and Hong Kong.
Application Online primarily supports the two divisions Sales Online & Marketing and Logistics with I&O services. At App Online we are organized in five different OAR-areas; Sales, Marketing & Marketing Online, Sales & Marketing Services, GOE and Online Logistics where we focus on capacity, availability and performance. We also have an Online Channel and Expansion area where we focus on project deliveries to handle improved functionality and expansion at our platforms. All of us work in close collaboration with Development Divisions and all areas within I&O.
As Technical Architect you will primarily work with solutions for hosting, infrastructure, monitoring and security along with our E-commerce teams. You collaborate together with the Operation Area Responsible' s, Technical Solution Responsible' s, Project Managers and architects at I&O and development divisions to support the different initiatives within Online. You will be an important link between development and operations in producing secure, stable and documented hosting solutions where you will cooperate with solution architects, developers, technicians as well as external partners.
The person we are looking for has a broad knowledge in infrastructure and technical architecture, application operation and system design. You are a full stack person that can understand everything from memory handling in Java to the storage solution used and its impact on the design. We expect that you have a great interest in IT architecture, good analytical skills and the ability to see the whole picture. We expect you to shine up when you hear terms like DevOps, continuous delivery, automation and cloud.
You are part of the Application Online Architect Team reporting to responsible architect. The position is based in Stockholm (Marievik), and may require occasional travel both domestic and international.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse, design and document the technical architecture for initiatives, projects and systems
- Support and coach team members within Online on technical architecture
- Design solutions for different initiatives and projects based on existing solutions for hosting and infrastructure
- In cooperation with the team members, develop and propose improvements in existing solutions
- Contribute to various procurement initiatives form a solution perspective
Experience and competence:
- Several years of experience of large IT-systems
- Extensive knowledge of large scale web based systems
- Experience of ITIL
- Experience of E-commerce solutions is not mandatory, but a great advantage
- Experience of call centre solutions is not mandatory, but a great advantage
- Experience of working with many suppliers.
- Good knowledge in Middleware
- Good knowledge in database solutions
- Knowledge in network and network security
- Experience with different hardware solutions for compute and storage (HP, VCE, EMC, Cisco, etc.)
- Experience with different products and solutions for monitoring and
reporting (Splunk, SCOM, etc.) - Experience with different virtualization platforms and cloud solutions
- Experience with CDN-solutions, for example Amazon Cloud Front and Akamai
- Knowledge of modern automation solutions for operation
- Good ability to adapt and understand new technology
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing for both Swedish and English
