Description
My client is looking for a (DV) Digitisation SME to support an initial 6 month contract to be based in Aldermaston.
The Consultant will assist in:
* Creating the scanning processes and governance arrangement for the scanning bureau.
* Determining the IT solutions against the Requirements Working alongside the IT Architecture with regards to the design of the file plan within SharePoint or other repository chosen to manage the digitised information
* Assisting in determining the metdata that needs to be associated with the scanned information
* Share responsibility for the UAT and SAT
* Creating test scripts against the user requirements
* Determining the scope of information that need to be digitised
* Accountable for delivering training to AWE staff
* Preparation of reports and presentation as an when requested by the Project Management
* Work with the Project manager to deliver the communications strategy to AWE Staff so that AWE understands the value and implications of being digitally led.
SKILLS:
* Process mapping
* Knowledge of Sharepoint and Electronic Management Systems
* Confident user of MS Office
* Excellent communication skills, including listening
* Self management and the ability to work under pressure, prioritise and balance workloads
* Constructive approach to problem solving
* Experience of undertaking evaluation activities
* Pays strong attention to accuracy and detail
