The Role/Company
We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join a well-known broadcasting company in the Netherlands on a contract basis. The Senior Java Engineer will be involved in developing the cutting edge cloud based products that make up the companies impressive range of solutions.
Senior Java Engineer Responsibilities:
*Software Development including component designs, coding and unit testing.
*Review, design and implementation of new features and functionality.
*Planning and estimation.
Senior Java Engineer Key Skills:
*Solid experience in Core Java, parallel and distributed programming.
*Experience implementing large scale, highly available web applications.
*Good experience developing applications using cloud frameworks and services.
*BS/MS Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
Senior Java Engineer Desired Skills:
*Experience with software security, encryption and key management.
*Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Rackspace or Google Cloud.
*Linux/Unix TCP/IP network protocols and network analysis.
*Java8, REST, Hibernate/JPA.
*Micro services and SaaS.
