Description
A global Renewable Energy client is looking an Offshore Export Cable Supply Manager for their offshore wind farm project. This is a 4.5 month freelance contract is expected to start 11th April 2016 up until approximately 31st August 2016 with the possibility of a further extension. Ths will be 5 days a week, 8 hours a day on average.Responsibilities:
- Take part in project team meetings and cross discipline co-operation
- To ensure that the project is on time on quality and within scope and budget
- To comply with the clients guidelines and current standards, ie ISO9001 and MAKS requirements as well as good engineering practice and local requirements
- Ensure that the best technical practices are implemented
- Ensure hand-over of agreed documentation to O&M and OFTO
- Comply with and enforce the company's HSE requirements by promoting an excellent safety culture
- Ensure QA through all tasks in the project
- Preferably experience on offshore cable supply
- Preferable experience with tendering processes and project management
- Practical as well as theoretical experience within HV export cables and components
- Possess the skills of a good project engineer (technically skilled, integrity, communication, adaptability, teamwork, decision-making and planning)
- Experience with the client IT tools and procedures
The Consultant will be required to bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software or newer and mobile telephone.
The Consultants must have his/her own PPE equipment (Personal Protection Equipment)
