Murex Report Developer / Investment Bank / Contract / London / £450 - £550My client, a leading investment bank, is looking for an experienced Murex Report Developer to join their expanding team based in central London.
What the role will entail:
The Murex team is looking after 3 installations of Murex:
- Murex FX Options (2.11)
- Murex FX Cash (3.1)
- Murex Equity (3.1)
The reporting team is embedded in the wider Murex team and is looking after all reporting requirements for all 3 applications. This includes building new reports, maintaining the EOD scheduler, problem analysis and bug fixing. There are currently 5 people working in the reporting team, including the team lead. The reporting team receives a variety of requests from our customers in all departments (Front, Back office, Risk department s and Finance).
The candidate must possess:
- Murex 3.1 & 2.11 experience
- Extensive Datamart knowledge required (Feeders, Extracts, Scanners, Performance tuning, Optimisation etc)
- M-Reports
- EOD Batch Processing experience (UC4 use desirable but not essential)
- Advanced sql (Sybase)
- General Investment Bank instruments knowledge including some coverage of MO, BO, FO deliveries, plus interface deliveries
- Unix: general commands and basic scripting
- Some Perl desirable
The candidate must be able to work in a highly dynamic environment with demanding users. The successful candidate will gain excellent exposure to the business area and products as well as the opportunity to work in a technically challenging, delivery focused environment.
