Position Description
The current position is for a lead full-stack Javascript developer on one of our partnership products focused on re-inventing the PR and content creation industry.
Our current technology stack is Node.js using the SAILS framework. Some projects use angular.js for the frontend, others react.js. Overall, we’re open to using what works best for the product. The successful applicant will be required to work in an agile/scrum workflow taking user stories from back-end implementation to front end styling and owning the technical foundations and direction of the product.
This is a remote position that can be done from anywhere.

Responsibilities:
- Taking user stories from back-end implementation to front-end styling.
- Write code which is reusable, testable and efficient.
- Input into the direction and features of the product.
- Taking ownership of all technical aspects of the product.
- Collaborate and communicate with other team members.
- Always push the way in which things are done.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Javascript.
- High-level knowledge of Node.js and the SAILS framework.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming.
- Knowledge of database programming including mySQL and Mongo.
- An understanding of server ops.
- Knowledge of templating languages such as ejs or Jade.
- Comfortable in turning designs into HTML and CSS using processors such as LESS or SASS.
- Experience in user authentication.
- Understating of version control such as Git.
- Always ready to say “I’ll learn how to” rather than “I don’t know how”.
- Be willing to share and learn with teammates.
- A focus on creating great products.
