Description

Due to consistent growth and investment, one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies are currently seeking QC Analysts to join their QC team in Dublin west.

To maintain regulatory compliance through established programs for lab testing, maintenance, training, SOP's, and validation. To work as part of the Quality Control Function in one of the following areas : QC Chemistry, Immunology, Potency.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform analytical and physical testing as per relevant test specification
  • Complete documentation associated with analytical results in a timely manner
  • Report any non-conformances to the QC supervisor
  • Troubleshoot laboratory methods and instruments
  • Participate in the timely resolution of LIRs/MIRs as appropriate
  • Calibrate and use laboratory instrumentation
  • Assist in the preparation and review/approval of area documentation (SOPs, methods)
  • Adhere to appropriate levels of cGMP within the QC laboratories
  • Assist/Mentor in the training of other analysts
  • Carry out all activities with minimal supervision
  • Recognised as a Subject matter Expert (SME) in at least one of the following areas: QC Chemistry, Immunology, Potency


Education/Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical quality environment with a Bachelor of Science degree essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently, as well as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities
