Description

My client is currently hiring an C# Developer to come and work on a very exciting project on a 6 month contract.

The C# Developer will be required to create cutting edge code running on the most advanced hardware in the gaming industry. You will be constantly challenged to write efficient code that allows our games to be developed quickly with a high degree of stability and flexibility. The key requirement is an individual who has knowledge of C# and associated APIs, and who has real-world experience of applying that knowledge to a complex and fast-moving development environment. The Developer would be required to come in and plan, facilitate, manage and deliver IT projects to meet agreed brief within time, cost and quality requirements.

Main Responsibilities:-

* Designing and developing content using C#

* Developing code to automate the testing of the content you create

* Working closely with test departments to triage and fix found issues

* Estimating and updating feature lists throughout development

* Responsible for the design and documentation of feature implementation and standardisation

* Constantly improving your knowledge and skills in both development and programming methodologies

Required Skills and Experience

* Experience of developing across different platforms and territories

* Professional programming experience spanning 7 years or more

* Expert knowledge of C# (experience of WPF and MVVM is also required)

* Knowledge of Dispatcher and multithreading techniques

* Experience of C# API's such as Win32

* Provable experience of developing and maintaining code used over multiple projects

* Ability to work with other peoples code and solve problems outside your area of expertise

* Knowledge of source control software such as SVN or Git

* Knowledge of estimation, task breakdown and long term planning

Beneficial Experience

* Experience of automated peer review processes

* Experience with Agile, TDD or BDD methodologies
