Embedded Software Engineer - Android, Embedded, C & C++, Kernel, Linux, ARM, GIT, U-BOOT, JAVA
We are urgently seeking Embedded Software Developers starting ASAP until September with the options of extensions if all goes well.
We need experience from contractors with relevant experience in Android Internals customizing the behavior of Android platform, changing the Android OS system services and framework and how the UI notifications are displayed.
Relevant experience with Linux Kernel, drivers, HAL, system services. Note we are not looking for Android Application developers but engineers with previous experience customising Android platforms for electronic devices.
Ideally a skill set as follows will give you an further indication;
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science
3-5 years in C, C++, Java, preferably in complex multi-threaded environment
Proven skills with bootloader, u-boot and Kernel development for ARM SoC s
Experience with programming within the Android platform
Experience with GIT/Gerrit
Knowledge of hardware, ability to read schematics, making small changes at hardware level
Knowledge of measurement equipment
Debugging tooling
Team player with good communication skills
Proficiency in English (written and oral)
Ability to work in a highly changing, fast moving environment
Experience with working in Agile/Kanban/Scrum teams
