Description
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Direct involvement with reviewing requirements, input to design, hands on development, data modelling, ETL and data mapping across projects
- Ensure all database systems meet business and performance requirements
- Use current and enhance where needed database and server systems monitoring applications
- Do proactive maintenance and system optimization checks
- Creation and maintenance of technical designs, data dictionaries, and systems operations documentation
- Automate unit and functional tests
Skills Required
- 5 years of IT experience is required. Required Skills: SQL Server/T-SQL, MS Analysis Services, MS Reporting Services, Erwin (Or other Data Modeling Tool)
- Data warehousing methodologies and practices
- Team oriented approach to work but able to work under own initiative
- Good interpersonal skills, Self motivated, Flexible approach to work
- The candidate will be experienced in SQL Server 2014 and SSIS, Data Warehouse technology/terminology, Oracle, ETL programming, and an Object Oriented Programming Language. Web development, SSRS and SSAS a plus.
