Functional Analyst, Financial Service/Banking, Junior Functional Analysis and German or French speaking
A leading international financial services company with English speaking working environment are in need of a young, aspiring functional analyst. Your will interface between end-users and IT professionals in order to develop the requirements of mission critical business service and IT application, to test them and to participate in their implementation.
You will be required to:
Write business requirements. Write relate test cases. Assist with the testing of the developed requirements. Detailed reporting about test status, including documentation of software defects. Interface between business and IT development. Assist and advise customer's testing activities. Prepare and support customer training. Presentations to end users about functional matters. Work with prescribed methodologies for involvement in all stages of project life cycle. During Specification Phase actively support functional issue resolution. Work together with business and IT. to facilitate resolution of issues and defects during Product Test, System Test, BAT and Customer testing. Help for production issue resolution and provide support for explaining system results and resolving customer queries. Write test approach document.
Qualifications/required skills
1 or 2 years experience in a financial institution Back Office, or as analyst in the securities industry. Excellent analytical skills. be a team player with a positive and proactive attitude. PC literate. Ability to meet challenging project deadlines and deliver in a fast moving and change oriented environment. Flexibility. Proficiency in written and spoken English; French/German language skills will be an asset.
Additional Information:
- Location: Luxemburg. Traveling to Eschborn on a bi-weekly basis for one or two days.
