Proof (proofbranding.com) is a full-service branding company based in Nashville, TN. We’re looking for an experienced part-time front-end web and WordPress developer to join our team. You’ll be tasked with combining form and function to create engaging, intuitive, UX bliss on the web. Partnering with our in-house development, content, and design team, you can expect and should be comfortable with the following:- You will be working on a variety of content-based sites that are almost always built in WordPress. Existing experience of the WordPress CMS is imperative for this role.
- You will be regularly converting Sketch and/or Photoshop mockups to responsive WordPress websites. You should also be comfortable making modifications to existing sites and developing static HTML templates for web and email clients.
- You will need solid experience in HTML, CSS, Javascript, and WordPress PHP development. Experience with API integration is also beneficial.
- We test rigorously on all devices (desktop and mobile), so you must be comfortable testing on all modern browsers, as well as on iOS and Android devices, both during development and during the Q&A process.
- You will be migrating WordPress websites from our staging server to live hosting environments, setting up databases, managing DNS and email changes, etc.
- You will communicate regularly with the other members of our team via Slack.
- You will regularly use our project management, communication, and collaboration tools (Basecamp, Slack, Dropbox, Google Drive, Bugherd, etc.)
