MI Reporting Manager/Cognos 10 Developer - Birmingham £43,000 Plus benefits.Overall Purpose of the Role
To support the development and delivery of MIS, to produce periodic reporting and MIS support for all stakeholders. To actively participate in the development of a UK Finance Function to continually improve service levels, cost effectiveness and add value to commercial activities undertaken. All key tasks and measures must be aligned to the Finance and Compass MAP (Management and Performance Reporting) plan.
*Produce and support the development of a range of periodic reports (Flash, MAP, CBR, inflation etc) which meet the needs of key stakeholders.
*Maintain the MIS infrastructure, ensuring that all required information is available through Cognos and reconciled back to SAP sources in a timely manner.
*Support the refinement of business processes and transaction structures in order to deliver the required MIS and reporting solutions.
*Support the development of reporting required to provide more efficient and effective management.
*Provide detailed analysis and general proactive support and guidance to the business sectors on data and reporting related issues.
*Support the development of standard reports and templates for efficient and effective business support.
Maintenance and Support of all support systems relating to the provision of Management Information.
