Marketing Manager-Surrey-Initial 9 Month Contract-£350 to £400pd

Our Client, a Global Pharmaceutical company is seeking a Marketing Manager to be based in Surrey on an initial 9 month contract.

Role Description
*This secondment is a key leadership role for a talented colleague, to be the single point of accountability to lead the MCC efforts and Content re pain patent and Second Medical Use Patents (SMUPs)
*This role is needed to build and prepare all MCC and related Content for the communication of SMUPs Pain Patent and to oversee, coordinate and lead different elements within.
*The successful candidate needs to be strong in communications skills, project management, MCC/digital planning, and have high agility to learn, grow and lead in a fast moving environment with a thorough understanding of the overall NHS (prescriber and payer) space.

Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate
* Lead the content management pain patent and Second Medical Use Patents (SMUPs). Be the subject matter expert in content and lead on the creation of the appropriate content, relevant for the right customer segment and channel
*Drive customer/commercial operation excellence at country level and bring customer/commercial insight into BU to influence/shape the MCC/Content strategy.
* Lead the flawless implementation/roll-out of POA- pain patent and Second Medical Use Patents (SMUPs)
* Facilitate briefings/workshops with customer facing teams where appropriate in order to inform and update them where appropriate.
* Collaboration and engagement with all one-PFE customer facing teams (ie GIP, GEP, etc) where relevant and appropriate.
* Enhance one- PFE reputation and lead in ensuring the execution of the agreed actions in this context.
* Leverage XFT resources and country leadership to partner in the development of MCC and Content strategy and future plans including establishing a national framework for second medical use patents (SMUPs). Lead in ensuring the execution of the agreed actions.
* To be the market expert with full understanding of their environment, competitors and customer needs to inform the overall country plan and revenue/budget forecasting
* Build strong relationships with all relevant internal stakeholders in country (eg GEP Lead, commercial director(s), sales management, medical function, access, finance, legal, demand management).
* Understand key environmental and commercial customer issues in the UK and gather and share the collated insights
* Ensure that accurate, timely and relevant customer information are communicated to relevant partners within the business
* Meet key customers and organisations where appropriate in order to allay any concerns or clarify the latest situation and to obtain market and competitive intelligence
* Represent to customers where appropriate and ensure that reputation is enhanced and improved as a result of any customer interactions.
* Accountable for the planning, spending & controlling of budgets agreed for own areas of responsibility, developing regular forecast updates to aid financial planning.
* Manage/prioritize resources across customers in line with UK strategy and in dialogue with customer facing functions
* Application of UK financial systems/processes
* Accountability for achieving UK sales target
* Appropriate stakeholder sign off
* Collaborate with customer facing leadership team to ensure POA strategy compliance and market feedback
* Support any product training
* Coordination with customer facing medical, local customer marketing and local e-marketing colleagues for customer/digital activities/programs
* Accountability for country effectiveness evaluation.
* Ensure brand/commercial marketing plan is in line with the GEP marketing framework.
* Utilise a broad spectrum of digital technologies to deliver a multichannel customer centric journey
* Drive country effectiveness evaluation using appropriate measures
* Work in dotted line capacity close collaboration with medical, legal, MCC and Cx and Comms departments.

Qualifications
* University degree in science, life sciences or business; graduate studies in management is an asset
* Previous experience in PR/Communications space highly desirable
* Demonstrated track record of high performance and producing outstanding results within brand/commercial marketing.
* Strong cross-functional working skills and able to deliver stretching results through others in Matrix complex working situations
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and healthcare environment
* Previous experience within the Prescriber/Payer domain
* Strong strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in identifying major strategic challenges and the ability to balance short term needs and long term vision
* Well organized with ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and effectively perform under tight timelines.
* Proven ability to perform effectively in a complex, changing environment, and the professional maturity to deal with ambiguity
* Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong cross-functional working skills and able to deliver stretching results through others in Matrix complex working situations
* Proven ability to influence others without authority
* Proven ability to analyse and define and convey complex concepts and strategies in verbal and written communication to demanding audiences (internal and external).
* Ability to create culture of innovation and continuous improvement
* Ability to take calculated risks
* Fluency in English as a business language and excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
