Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for an experienced Wind Farm Project Engineer based in Sweden for our client a major manufacturer in the large onshore wind sector.
This role is for someone with a broad experience of Wind Farm systems and will involve Mechanical, Electrical and Civil engineering disciplines.
The role is to be based in Sweden near Stockholm and you will need to be able to speak fluent Swedish.
Applicants will need to have an Engineering Degree and an MSc in Renewable Energy will be a definite advantage in this role. A good general knowledge of wind technology will strongly support your application.
You will be supporting the project and sales teams with technical expertise on the whole range of systems connected with the turbines themselves: From lifts to gear chain condition monitoring; fall arrest equipment to transformers and switchgear.
You will have a highly customer focussed role both during the tender phase in support of the sales team and during implementation and project execution to ensure that the technical solutions proposed in the design phase are successfully implemented. You will therefore need to have good face to face skills with customers and experience in this area will be very useful.
This will be a 7 month contract role to cover Paternity leave.
