About the Role:
. Key member of the IT solutions development team focused on delivering innovative, customer focused solutions in the competitive and fast paced broadband and mobile services market.
. Responsible for both requirements analysis, technical design, implementation and support of multiple applications.
. Proactive member or a self-organising, highly skilled, agile software development team based in Limerick, Ireland.
Specific Tasks/Duties:
. Translate broadband, mobile and CRM domain business requirements into clearly defined systems feature enhancements.
. Specify enterprise class technical architectures and designs that align to IT delivery principles.
. Implement and test high quality .NET centric systems that are both reusable, portable and scalable.
. Implement graphically rich user interfaces that align to common styling and branding of the company.
. Provide proactive support for systems developed by the IT solutions team.
. Required to provide innovative ideas and solutions regarding systems design, technology enhancements and IT process improvements within a collaborative and team focused ethos.

. Software systems that align to the IT solutions team architecture principals and roadmaps.

. Highly optimised distributed systems that delivery high performance and scalability.
The Person Should Have:
. Over 8 years' hands on industry experience, in .NET or Object Oriented development roles.
. Excellent knowledge of all aspects of the software development life cycle.
. Strong experience of .NET Frameworks 3.5, 4 or 4.5.
. Strong Experience of ASP.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET MVC and C# Development.
. REST and SOAP Web Service development using Microsoft WCF and Web API.
. Distributed .NET and IIS experience specialising in performance and stability.
. Experience using pattern based design and architecture in particular MVC and Enterprise pattern development.
. UI and client-side Scripting frameworks using JavaScript AJAX based frameworks such as AngularJS, Bootstrap or Backbone.
. Source control, build automation using products such as TFS, GIT, NuGet and Artifactory.
. Agile SCRUM software methodology experience using products such as JIRA Agile.
. Unit, integration and continual testing framework experience using products such as NUnit.
. Strong experience of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, 2012 or 2013.
. Experience of T-SQL with Microsoft SQL Server 2008, 2012 or 2013.
It would be highly desirable if the candidate had experience in the following skills also.
. Ecommerce and sales solutions experience.
. Developing or integrating with CRM systems eg Amdocs
. Experience of data transfer and job management using tools such as SQL Server job manager and DTS.
. Graphical design using tools such as Paint Shop Pro or GIMP.
. Implementing or configuring IVR based telephony systems using systems like Convergys.
. Open Source technologies and frameworks.
