Communications Production Officer - 6 months - Warwick - Negotiable Daily Rate

A leading Energy and Utilities client of Pontoon is looking for a Communications Production Officer to joni their site in Warwic as part of a large scale Communications piece of work.

Job Purpose:-

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the communication planning and production processes in UK Shared Services. This includes channel management, content production and delivery, editorial responsibility and measurement reporting.

The role will form part of an established internal communications team and be focussed on managing and evolving the existing channels and planning, but may also be required to support wider communications programmes across Shared Services

Experience Required:-

  • Experience of working in an internal communication team
  • Channel management and process ownership
  • Knowledge and experience in copywriting, editing, print, video and web production for business communication
  • Experience of knowledge management systems and managing infonet and sharepoint sites
  • Knowledge of employee engagement programmes and driving engagement through communication
  • Managing senior stakeholder expectations

Key Tasks:-

  • Manage the UK Shared Service channel Matrix, including production, sourcing and delivery of content - ensuring agreed KPI and metrics are maintained and updated as part reporting to support the wider team
  • Creation of content for use across key internal channels, aligned to strategic projects and Shared Services ambition
  • Manage the UK Shared Services infonet presence and work with service teams to ensure up to date content is available and aligns with wider strategic narrative
  • Maintain a centralised communications plan for all Shared Services activities, incorporating wider National Grid plans and reviewed on a regular basis to ensure fit for purpose and value adding
  • Support service teams understand and plan employee engagement activities and prepare centralised reporting around employee engagement survey.
  • Identify, test and implement appropriate tools/mechanisms to measure employee feedback and channel performance
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide input into wider team strategies
