For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for an enthusiastic Full Stack Java Developer with experience in test and build automation.
Objective of the function:
The Developer develops, together with an Agile/Scrum team, online and backend applications and portals. Innovation, Reliability, Customer Focus and high quality solutions are key when it comes to software development. Test Driven Development, unit testing, test automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery are therefor always in scope of the projects that are in the hands of the Agile/Scrum teams.
The team is working Dev/Ops, which desires flexibility and responsibility from all the team members.
The team uses technologies and frameworks: Java 1.7, JavaScript, AngularJS, Spring MVC, Spring WS, JUnit, Sonar, Fortify, Nolio, Liquibase, Jenkins, Maven, Hibernate, SoapUI, JMeter, Cucumber and Selenium. Proven and extensive experience in test and build automation are strongly preferred.
Tasks:
- Develop and test Java based online and backend applications and portals
- Support on solving production disruptions, conducting research into the root cause and drafting amendments;
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fullstack Java Development;
- Extensive knowledge and experience in test and build automation;
- Knowledge of Tomcat and HTTP server on *nix environments
- In depth knowledge and experience in Sybase ASE 15 and SQL scripting;
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS and JQuery;
- Hands-on mentality;
- Communicative and collaborative;
- Wide experience with high critical environments, preferably gained within financial institutions;
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development method;
- Team player who is able to communicate well with all parties involved;
- Experience in Banking Sector and transaction processing is preferred.
