My client, a Managed Services Provider specialising in IT and Information Security require an experienced Security Engineer on an initial 3 month contract based in France. The successful candidate will need to have extensive RADIUS server experience.
The role:
Design a solution for a RADIUS server, satisfying the following requirements:
Functional:
- Act as a Proxy between an application - RADIUS client - and two authentication services: Active Directory and an OTP service accessible via RADIUS interface
- Perform the authentication of the requests that contain the user-ID and the two passwords concatenated: one for the AD, the other - the OTP (return success only if both authentications are successful)
Non-functional:
- Production: high availability, Pre-production - normal availability
- Run on a Windows or Linux operating system platform
- Specify the operating environment required for the solution
- Implement the solution in the Client environment (including installing & configuring all the required software, integrating in the system management processes: backup & restore, monitoring documenting the solution, testing it)
- Hand-over the solution to the Client, on-going administration and support team (including training & knowledge transfer)
- Ongoing (after hand-over):
- Support the RADIUS server software operating in the client environment, including the 2nd and 3rd level of support, with:
- 24x7 coverage
- 2 hours response on the critical incidents, 2 business hours response on other incidents
