Description
We build cutting-edge, responsive web applications. We’re a small shop so we’re always on the hunt for people with accessory skills, but we’re primarily looking for someone strong in JavaScript (pure, Angular, jQuery, Node, React, and whatnot), CSS, and HTML. Animation and motion can be key to an end-user understanding an interface, so we need someone that thinks of UIs as fluid and knows CSS, JS, and SVG animation techniques inside and out.
We love our devs to be involved throughout the design process, pointing out pitfalls and finding opportunities as we mock things up; even putting together quick prototypes to communicate ideas with the team, clients, and users. We run our own, unique agile process and have a set of tools we like to work with—but we are always looking for better ways to do things and welcome input from all our contributors.
Super Humane is a distributed team. Our partners are all located in Colorado (Denver, mostly) but we welcome anyone, anywhere to join us. We build applications that help people improve their lives: find a job, get an education, and such.
We have a couple large projects (probably 2-3 months of your time on each) coming up over the course of the year. We normally like to engage with contractors on a project-basis to learn how we work together but are open to full-time contracts if we find a good groove.
If you’re excited about joining a team where you can be a humanitarian every day, send us a note: tell us a little about yourself, why you’re excited about being super humane, and include some examples of you and your work. We can’t wait to hear from you!
