We are currently looking for a Senior Security Engineer for my client based in Brussels, Belgium.
General tasks description and deliverables IT Specialists in this job role will have expertise on managing and operation of IT hardware, software, communications, and/or application solutions, and the resources required to plan for, develop, deliver, and support properly engineered IT services and products to meet the needs of a business in the security domain. The scope of this job role includes preparation for new or changed services, responsibility for the change process (solution design and build). IT Specialists in this job role work with products or solutions based on any vendor hardware and/or any vendor operating system software. Typical examples of the deliverables are building proof-of-concept solutions to address client requirements and architecting solutions to address client requirements. Creation of a DLD (detailed level design) document based on Solution Architecture with as purpose serving for the configuration of the security environment(s). Every solution is described in a solution DLD. This document describes which standard service, functionality; (server) hardware is used for the solution. The DLD contains the specifications for the necessary security services (eg: detect, protect and prevent threats) and delivers a general description of the solution/application. The DLD is delivered by the FMT & IS security engineering team and is after implementation of the solution used by the Operational Security Services team (OSS) and supported by Operations teams (OIS).
Specific tasks: Able to run/guide independently projects Signal technical/procedural improvements and execute Carry out performance analyse, advice to projects 5 year experience as network designer 5 year experience as designer, expert level unix & linux admin, very good unix/linux security knowledge, BoKS training followed & active BoKS knowledge 5 year experience as designer, implemented more than one enterprise class system ITIL Foundation (or experience with ITIL processes) Agile working CCDP/CCNP Experience in Network, Firewall, VM and other platforms
