Description
Summary:- The candidate would work on a Performance Management collector team that collects CDRs (Call Detail Records) from devices supporting VoIP networks.
- A skilled, experienced developer is required for requirements review, design, development, test support, and production support/troubleshooting activities supporting multiple releases per year.
- This developer would work Back End system functions (as opposed to user-facing functions) that are network-facing interfaces and providing value-added processing of data before sending the processed data downstream to other systems.
Required:
- Java programming with some experience in Perl and Unix Shell programming
- Oracle, SQL, Perl DBI
- Linux, Virtual Machine (VM/Cloud) environments
- Agile trained as well as waterfall project experience
- This is Back End systems development close to network interface; do not need GUI developers
- VoIP domain knowledge, particularly Call Detail Records
- Preference would go to candidates with telecom knowledge and/or high data volume, high performance, parallel processing systems experience
- ASN.1 formats and translation
- Jenkins, Junit, Git, Docker
- Json and XML/XSLT experience
- System-System interfaces involving technologies like Webservices/SOAP/Restful interfaces, secure file transfers, and other APIs
- PostgreSQL
- Multithreaded implementations
