Description

Provide expert forecasting and analysis on the market. Lead one or more multi-disciplinary agile delivery teams to deliver excellent new products and/or iterations to existing digital products and/or platforms to meet user needs. Gather user requirements based on a communicable understanding of diverse audience groups. Define and get user buy in for product definition and delivery approach. Create effective, prioritised product descriptions and delivery plans to meet user needs in a cost effective way. Interpret user research in order to make the correct product decisions, noting that users do not always know what they want. Underpin the delivery and iteration of digital services through effective analysis of qualitative and quantitative user data; Disseminate an understanding of the digital marketplace, including best practice, costs, suppliers, methodologies and skills to both internal and external stakeholders. Communicate credibly with a wide range of digital delivery disciplines and talent both internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding of current practice and technology platforms available within DWP
  • Work collaboratively with L&D Design Team to develop a milestone delivery plan
  • Produce a strategy for transforming DWP's operational learning

Experience Required:

  • Video production utilising MS Windows (via HP Z Book 17) and associated software, including but not restricted to, Adobe CS4/6, Studio Pro X7 and any open source software.
  • In depth and market leading knowledge of both Microsoft and Apple compatible video editing software
  • Experience of supporting large scale learning modernisation programmes across multiple access points (circa 60,000 potential delegates)
  • Experience of E-learning authoring tools and the ability to provide in depth analysis of suitability against existing and potential future host platforms (including, but not restricted to invotra).
  • Experience of developing learning in both an Agile and Waterfall project environment
  • Experience of impacting and developing revised Design Ratios when moving to new hardware and software for agreement across multiple business areas
