Description

A leading Renewable Energy client is looking for x2 Marine Management Assistants to support the Construction Site organisation in relation to marine administration tasks and contractor training. This is an approximate 9 month freelance contract to start 11th April up until 31st January 2017. The shift pattern for this role will be Monday - Friday changing between 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 20:00, every other weekend Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 - 18:00 approx.
Responsibilities:
  • Support the Construction Site Organisation in relation to marine operations
  • To support the construction site organisation in relation to work authorisation
  • Support daily CTV's and guard vessels utilisation
  • Issue & distribute (where necessary) Notice to Mariners
  • Prepare for and follow up actions following meetings with Vessel crews
  • Maintaining records of offshore activities, vessel movements, people on board and personnel transfer tracking
  • Training of contractors in the use of the OMS systems and the site specific communication procedures
  • Wet storage planning & direct liaison with CM & Port authorities for permission to wet store, ensuring no conflicts
  • Cargo transfer incl IMDG planning ensure that correct documentation is forwarded to Ports, customs
  • Check validity of all certificates & crew lists, includes informing individuals that certificates are expiring
  • Crew change planning for large crew changes & liaison with agents
Qualifications:
  • Relevant maritime experience (understanding of nautical charts, experience from sailing)
  • Relevant office administrative experience (MS Office to medium level)
Special Provisions:

The consultant must bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 and his/her own mobile telephone
