Well established manufacturing firm located in Belgium is looking for a Production SQL Server DBA to be part of a dynamic & stimulating environment. The SQL Server DBA Production is looking for an outstanding bright Microsoft SQL Server DBA who can administer all aspects of SQL in a busy operational environment.
The Production DBA team is looking to take a mid-level candidate with 3-5 years as a SQL DBA someone who covers day-day operational support, SQL project management & help implement the company database performance, capacity, security & business continuity strategies.
The SQL DBA role will cover:
Support of a multi-site SQL Server environment )
Maintenance of business-critical multi-site replication such as mirroring, clustering, log-shipping DR server environment
Responsibility for database & transaction log backups
Ensuring database security
Working closely with developers - advising in design & indexing issues, performance tuning, schema modifications
Scripting T-SQL (to edit code)
