Title: Project Manager
Duration: 9months + contract, and likely will extend or go perm
Location: Downtown Dallas
Rate: $55/hr W2

Position Responsibilities:
The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and budget of one or more moderate to highly complex projects. This includes coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Creates, manages and executes project plans to support the ongoing needs of the IT department. Coordinates resources, establishes deadlines and assigns responsibilities.
Projects range but not limited to:
- New Server implementations (Wintel, Linux)
- Delivery of new database capabilities
- Network delivery coordination (WAN/LAN)
- Storage augmentation
- Middleware and Systems Management (WebSphere Application Server, JBOSS Enterprise Web Server, WebSphere MQ, WebSphere Message Broker)
- Network - Voice
- Citrix - XenApp and XenDesktop
Responsibilities:
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain full-scale, detailed project plans to be used in tracking project milestones and deliverables.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Monitor project financials and recommend budget changes where necessary.
- Perform resource management on projects to level resources and acquire appropriate staffing
- Provide oversight across multiple projects to identify inter-project dependencies and resource constraints.
Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects from planning through execution and delivery for infrastructure projects
- Strong familiarity with MS Project
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft tools (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint)
