For a 6 month project at our banking clients' site in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedSenior Business Analyst - Front Office (3675)
You will be in a challenging and leading role in building up a state-of-the-art distributed data analytics platform which is central in the big data strategy of our client. As Lead Business Analyst you are responsible to manage the applications book of work, turning business requirements into implementable application specifications and such as the main contact point towards the business stakeholders.
Your offer:
- 8+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within the financial sector
- Financial products knowhow (FX trading, securities trading)
- Analytics knowhow (analysis of trading behavior using statistical methods)
- Ideally Big Data experience with Hadoop-based platforms
- Well-structured working style, reliable and dedicated, ability to handle a significant number of dependencies
- Conceptually strong and a delivery- / results-oriented problem solver
- Good team player with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent English language knowledge
About the role:
- Lead business analyst role for a trade based analytics application
- Opportunity to design, specify and implement large enterprise-level Hadoop-based analytics applications including application front-ends in .NET
- Delivery of new actionable insights in the form of advanced trade recommendations, based on solid evidence in data
- Working independently under the guidance of a senior project lead
