Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join their Cambridge Street Lighting PFI team on a 6 month contract.
Purpose of the role:
The Contracts Administrator, under close supervision, will assist BBLP's Quantity Surveyors in the field of measurement, production of application payments and day to day administrative tasks.
Main duties/responsibilities:
- Assist with the assembly of applications and invoicing
- Provide administration assistance to Street Lighting Quantity Surveyors
- Record keeping
- Conduct business with the highest ethical standards and has decision making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with BBLP's Street Lighting service provision
- Other duties as assigned by Quantity Surveyor
Ideal candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Ability to comprehend verbal details and instructions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Highly numerate
- Good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Ability to immediately respond to emergency situations and/or customer needs
Hourly rate for tis position is £9.22 PAYE (plus holiday pay) or £11.77 Umbrella based on 37.5 hours working week.
