For a 6 month project at our banking clients' site in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedIT Business Analyst - BCBS / Credit Risk (3689)
The successful candidate will join a BCBS project within Credit Risk. Experience within the Credit Risk space and strong knowledge of SQL querying Oracle data base is vital for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum 8 Years of experience as an IT Business Analyst within Credit Risk
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying ORACLE data bases and an understanding of data base design
- Track record in banking / financial services
- Excellence in analysing business related processes that include banking, organizational, application- related and other operational processes and procedures
- Experience in development of proposals for change or enhancements to the application
Key Deliverables:
- Five recommendations for improvements, solutions and respective implementation plans
- Write IT-Specifications for development team
- Information gathering activities such as analyzing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data
- Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
- Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements documents
- Coordinating the work of more junior analysts
- Act as recognized experts in their area and usually work on multiple products and/or processes of medium to high complexity. You may be involved in coordinating activities, eventually of strategic nature that go beyond your own area
- Coach colleagues, demonstrating excellence in their professional area
- Identify cross-functional opportunities, contributing to the acceptance of change in the wider organization
- Contribute to the achievement of financial results and secure cost and efficiency savings as well as help protect the bank's reputation
- Actively initiate actions in changing the bank's processes and procedures you are beyond the own unit
