For a 6 months project at our banking client's site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Senior IT Business Analyst - Credit Risk / Credit Loss Model (3688)

The successful candidate will work in the IFRS 9 project in credit risk. This work comprises the documentation of business requirements, the specification of IT changes, and the support of testing activities of an implementation. The goal of IFRS 9 is to replace the IAS 39 Incurred Credit Loss model with a new, forward looking, Expected Credit Loss model for certain financial assets.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years proven track record as IT Business Analyst
  • Knowledge of SQL for querying ORACLE data bases and an understanding of data base design is a must
  • Knowledge in Credit Risk / Credit Loss models of advantage
  • Experience in analysing business related processes that include banking, organizational, application- related and other operational processes and procedures
  • Experience in development of proposals for change or enhancements to the application


Key deliverables
  • Information gathering activities such as surveying, analyzing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data
  • Recommendations for improvements, solutions and respective implementation plans
  • Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
  • Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements documents
  • Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management
  • Coordinating the work of more junior analysts
