Senior Risk Analyst - SAS / SQL - Leeds - £400/£450 p.day

We are currently assisting our major Financial Services client for an experienced Senior Risk Analyst on a 6 month (initial) contract.

Based in Leeds, the successful candidate will -
  • Manage the redevelopment of Current Account account management strategies across multiple brands
  • Deliver analytics enhancements to affordability and limit setting to ensure regulatory commitments are met.


EXPERIENCE

> You will have 5+ years Credit Risk Analytics experience - ideally within Current Accounts and unsecured lending.

> You will have experience of managing analytic and modelling projects by working/ guiding analysts to successful completion, on budget, on time and with clear financial benefits.

> Experience of having applied mathematical/statistical techniques to data to produce explanatory and predictive models.

> Highly developed analytical skills to extract information from data and translate to business language and financial impacts.

> SQL/SAS programming.

Capable of writing complex macros, data extraction queries, producing structured analysis datasets and performing statistical analyses and tests against the data.
