*Strategic Planner/Technical Customer Liaison Engineer (Water/Wastewater) - £20-30ph - 3 months initial contract, Glasgow*
Our Glasgow based client has a fantastic opportunity for a customer facing Strategic Planner/
Technical Utilities Liaison Engineer.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Be the first point of contact for customers (eg building developers) to assess the status of current utility supplies, pipes etc
- Manage enquiries through to resolution including technical assessments of current design/pipe work, costings and sign-off.
This is a technical role with technical appraisal, customer liaison and some project management related to developer enquiries.
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of RAMS and DOMS/water hygiene standards
- Strong IT skills with previous experience of GIS, CAD, QVP is highly desirable
- Good technical knowledge of network infrastructure (water/wastewater)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
The ideal candidate also should hold a full UK driving licence.
