Description
As part of the ICC Virtual Server Infrastructure and Enterprise Backup Unit located in the ICC office in Valencia, the resource will:
Asses the existing Oracle VM infrastructure; propose and implement recommendations and improvements
Install, manage and support Oracle VM Server x86 environment.
Install, manage and support Oracle VM Virtual Servers
Implement configurations related to clusters, SAN, multipath, security and user/group administration and to ICC standard tools for backup, monitoring and administration.
Perform regular patch updates.
Identify and troubleshoot known problems and document solutions.
Design, develop and maintain automation tools aiming at optimizing the management of the Oracle VM Virtual Server Infrastructure.
Document monitoring and maintenance procedures.
Perform required tasks in maintenance windows.
Perform other duties as required.
The scope of work includes "stand-by" services on a rotation basis during weekends, holidays and outside of normal working hours.
