Amoria Bond are looking for a Scrum Master to aid its client in the coaching of a newly set up team for a 12 month contract with an option to extend.
Your tasks will consist of:
- Working with the Product Owner (PO) and team to remove barriers
- Coaching the PO on how to meet their objectives through the Scrum process
- Removing impediments that are impacting the progress of team
- Guardian of the process teaching others their roles and protecting the teams rules of engagement
- Ensuring team retain quality and motivation
- Facilitating scrum process, retrospectives, release planning etc.
- Communicates progress to any externally interested stakeholders
- Works hand in hand with the PO, continually updating with team progress, issues
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully coaching and facilitating small, cross functional, Scrum teams team members). You will be an integral part of one or two dynamic scrum teams, delivering high value change to a fast moving and highly successful business.
- Good communicator
- Strong facilitation skills, actively engages in getting consensus
- Shows ownership/responsibility
- Can confidently act as team coach
- Has a 'can do' attitude, actively looks at ways to improve the team processes
- Thrives in a team environment and seeks to motivate them
- Likes working in a dynamic environment
- Has a positive outlook, and is a solution provider
- Is process improvement orientated, and puts forward ideas for improving processes and project management practices
- Relationship builder with the team and external stakeholders
- Experience working in a Scrum team or using other Agile/Lean practices (eg Kanban, XP)
- Experience working with enterprise level systems
- Ideally has Scrum Master qualifications/certification
- In addition to the above, the post holder will be fluent in spoken and written English
