Description
The job is open to candidate who have experience in WebSphere Application Server 7.0.x/8.x and good knowledge of performance of Web Applications on this Application Server.
The job entails a strong co-operation with testers who invoke business test scenarios on banking web applications, the responsibility of this jobs is to analyse Applications using standard IBM and external tools and provide full reporting on the status of the banking application subjected under the load conditions. Recommendations on how to best tune the application is also essential.
The following skills are required:
1. Knowledge of WebSphere Application Server admin and management of Deployments.
2. Knowledge of AIX and Linux.
3. Good communication skill across Operation/Testing/Development Teams
4. Operational Experience of PROD environments and Change Procedures
5. Performance of Web application under IBM WebSphere Application Server
6. Good Team Player
The following are considered added advantages in the selection process for this post:
1. Knowledge of Performance Tunning of Web Applications
2. Good knowledge of analysing JVM Garbage Collection and Tunning
3. Exposure to APM tool such as DynaTrace 6.x
4. Capacity Estimation for Web Application for PROD system.
