Contract length: 6 Months
Exciting opportunity for a highly skilled SQL Database Administrator
Majority of work primarily SQL/SSRS, but includes SSIS
support, administration and maintenance of all SQL databases
Key responsibilities include:
Maintenance of All SQL Databases
contribute to the design and implementation of all database infrastructure, owning the documentation for these systems
Produce monthly capaticy reports
Deal with upgrades and migrations
Back up databases
Experience in Implementing and administering MS SQL Server 2005, 2008R2, 2012 and 2014 (Clustered and Standalone)
Good knowledge of Transact-SQL, Stored Procedures, SSIS and SSRS
Experience of working in an ITIL environment and of managing successful projects.
Good Knowledge of Backup, Restore and DR processes/design (using SQL tools, Cluster failover, High Availability)
