Location: Dublin City Centre
The Role A major telecommunications company based in Dublin are expanding their test engineering team which is responsible for ensuring the quality of its high performance, real-time analysis products, utilising the latest software and hardware technologies.
This team delivers innovative, automated testing solutions to verify the accuracy, performance, functionality, stress, resilience and use case validation of the company's products.
Their product provides real time critical data and analytics for Application Aware Network Performance Management, Big Data initiatives, real time Security Management, and unprecedented IT Operational visibility. Their technology is recognised as visionary and the largest clients in the world use their product to run their business.
Responsibilities
Ensuring the quality of industry leading financial and enterprise core product features
Working within an agile software development lifecycle to test new product features
Using scripting and programming skills to automate tests using python and selenium
Designing test cases using Test/QA best practice Requirements
BSc. in Computer Science or related discipline
Strong scripting/ programming skills using Python or similar
Experience in writing automated test suites for web applications
Good knowledge of manual and automated testing
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent verbal and written English-language communication skills.
Experience working with the Telecommunications industry is ideal
